Winter Wonderland

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...especially since we got SNOW! Now I am sure my relatives in Michigan will laugh at my excitement over our tiny amount of snow but I LOVE it. What I do not love is the network station around here thinking that snow in high elevations is ALL DAY LONG news worthy. I am not talking updates here....I mean CONTINUOUS coverage from 4:30am-8pm on the weather. Seriously people?
But we had fun. It snowed Sunday with gusty winds making the temperature with wind chill feel like 2 degrees. Monday wasn't too bad. Tuesday we went over to Nana's (Sean's moms) and took her and Pete out for groceries and in search of chains (no luck, sold out everywhere). Wednesday was supposed to be this HUGE storm that would shut the city down. They warned if you went out in the morning you might not make it back home at night. SCARRRRYYYY. Guess what...it never came. We got snow up here but nothing to write about (ha ha pun intended). Then this morning (Thursday) they said we'd get nothing and how "warm" it would be. Not a minute later it dumped snow on us. We all went out and played and then Sean and I drank hot cocoa to warm up :) Abi wasn't too sure of her pink camo jacket and snow bib (or the immobilization suit as we called it). She didn't like not being able to move. But she thought the snow was so funny and just kept laughing as she looked all around.
